Caesarea, the original name is Caesarea Augusta, named after the Roman emperor Augustus Caesar who conquered it and gave it to Herod. The construction of Caesarea lasted 14 years and ended in the 9th century BC. Herod developed Caesarea, making it the largest city in the country. Herod built the harbor of Caesarea to make himself a quick getaway from the sea.
Today, Caesarea is one of the most beautiful towns and most exclusive residences in Israel. Caesarea is administered by the CDC Edmond Benjamin de Rothschild. Caesarea spread from west to Route 2 east. Caesarea length is 6 kilometers, and is one kilometer wide.
