Ganei Tikva is a municipality in the Uno Valley, located to the South of Petah Tikva, East of Kiryat Uno, and North of Savyon. Like other Uno Valley settlements, Ganei Tikva is a suburb of Tel Aviv, made a municipality in 1953. Ganei Tikva has seen a surge of construction that has revitalized the town in recent years. The municipality invests significant resources into urban projects around town. For many years, residents suffered from severe flooding in winter, as the old sewage system would give way to winter rain water. As of 2023, there are 17,000 residents in Ganei Tikva. The population has been growing at 5% per annum according to CBS and is rated 8 of 10 on the socio-economic scale. In 1996, construction of a new neighborhood began in the eastern part of town, bordering Kfar Maas. The neighborhood New Savyon Hill includes single family homes and low-rises. A civic center, the “Merkaz Habama” gallery, a shopping center, and country club were also constructed. In 1997 Nof Savyon was constructed in the western part of the town, and was marketed to the Orthodox population.  In 2006 construction began on a new neighborhood called Ganim, which features high-rises. The average price of a penthouse in Ganim neighborhood is currently around 5.8 million NIS, but penthouses with large balconies and expansive views can top 6.3 million NIS. The average price for a single-family home in Ganei Tikva with a 260 square meter floorplan built on a 320 square meter lot Is around 5.7 million NIS. The price of a luxury home on a half dunam lot can reach 6.3 million NIS (as of 2015).
